The much anticipated UEFA Champions League returned on Tuesday night and did so with a bang. The opening night had it all from upsets, VAR controversy to history being made. It was certainly not a disappointing opening night for football fans.
The UEFA Champions League is in full swing, with the second round of matches having now been played. As you’d expect, this week’s games were full of goals, with a good mix of controversy mixed in for good measure.
The Premier League is often described by many a football fan as the best league in the world.
It’s been a great season so far for both Liverpool and Manchester City.
The season started so well for Jurgen Klopp, and his team; they looked as though they were off to the perfect start, given their 4-0 whipping of Arsenal, alongside moving further into the Champions League – and fans and pundits alike, thought the team looked set to make a solid first-quarter of the season.
